Resilience to Climate Change
What we do
INECC’s focus on Climate Change resilience is guided by the principles of Community-Based Adaptation. INECC with its partners aims to build resilience to local climate variability and extremes by taking up grassroots level initiatives on:
- Sustainable farming practices ranging from effective natural resource management techniques.
- Promoting system of rice and ragi cultivation and the revival of millets.
- Facilitating research and adoption of local-level, context-specific and climate-friendly technologies for cooking, drinking water, agriculture, etc to meet the local energy needs of communities.
- Promoting climate change knowledge management.
